I collaborate with numerous esteemed Spanish media outlets offering my expertise on some relevant economic issues, and explaining complex subjects for a broader audience. My contributions have primarily revolved around topics such as labour market dynamics, interest rates, and consequences of rent regulation, among others.

Competitively selected to assist in the research project ‘Migration Legacies’. Team formed by Dr Covadong Menseguer and Dr Laura Maravall. Moved to co-author after contract ended.

Tutor of Microeconomics and Industrial Organization at intermediate level.

TA of a support course in advanced Econometrics (cross-section and time series) belonging to the Master in Economic Development and Growth (MEDEG), an official master’s degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Responsible for several training groups at Club Natación Vigo Rías Baixas (Vigo, Spain). I coached more than 30 children each year between 5 and 14 years old, and managing sports aspects within the team. In addition, I was in charge of a group of people with cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and other Paralympics at Club AMFIV (Vigo, Spain). My main job was to offer physical conditioning as a form of rehabilitation.

120 ECTS, 100% in English. Specializing in Economic History and Institutional Economics, I wrote numerous research articles in political science as well.
Master’s thesis (18 ECTS), supervised by Dr Stefano Battilossi: ‘The causes of Spanish emigration through institutional performance, 1880-1936’. An empirical analysis using dynamic models on the effect of both fiscal policy decisions and poor definition of land property rights on Spanish emigration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

60 ECTS, 100% in English. Specializing in advanced subjects of Economic Theory and Econometrics.
Econometrics’ empirical project (May 2019) supervised by Dr Álvaro Escribano: ‘Should we consider institutions?’ A time series analysis about how institutional variables affect the main macroeconomic indicators.
Master’s thesis (6 ECTS) supervised by Dr Antonia Díaz: ‘The Role of Institutions on the Becoming of Nations’. An econometric analysis of how institutional quality affects income, public debt, and inequality.

1st national division swimming team. Several times gold and silver medallist in the Galician Regional Championships and some participations in the Spanish National Championships. Being able to combine more than 15 hours of training per week in the pool with studies both at high school and university, and now also working as a university lecturer and PhD candidate.
